unable to login after removing replication partner

This issue has been solved. See solution.

The replication partner is removed from one of our SEPM. After that we were unable to login to SEPM and we received an error "Authentication Failure".

You can try to reset your

You can try to reset your admin password. You can try the procedures below.

1.     Open Windows Explorer on the computer that runs Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.

2.     Locate the Drive:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\Tools folder.

3.     Double-click resetpass.bat.

        The user name and password are reset to admin.

4.     Log on to Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager using admin for both the user name and the password, and change the password.

use the resetpass.bat under

use the resetpass.bat under tools folder of SEPM. After this use admin/admin login into SEPM.

Also check is the SEPM name entered is right in the login console.

Run the "Management Server

Run the "Management Server Configuration Wizard" on the SEPM that you are locked out of and reconfigure the SEPM to point back to the previous SEPM that it was successfully replicating with, and then disassociate the built-in SEPM "admin" account for Active Directory Authentication.
