  • 1.  Unable to make tasks with 1 week schedule in NS 7

    In the altiris task manager i want to create a reboot task. When i want to repeat all weeks in the schedule i have an error:

    "An unexpected error occurred while saving this schedule. See the Altiris log for more information."

     

    In the log information i have this message:

    Can you provide more details or your schedule?  The easiest way would be to find the task you created, right-click on the Schedule and choose Details, then upload a screenshot.

    You should have no problem choosing a date/time and setting the task to recur every 1 weeks to happen weekly.  For example, if I wanted every Thursday at 2 a.m., I would select Date 12/2/2010, Time 2:00 repeat every 1 Weeks.

    You cannot set the time of a task to start in the past.  Instead of November 28, it should start on December 5.  This should solve the problem you're seeing.
