This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi,

I have logged into the server as domain admin and installed the SEPM (11.0.6200.754).
I'm able to login to the console. But when I'm trying to open the "Database Back Up and Restore" console, I'm getting the below error.

Error message: "you don't have enough prevelige. Only the users under administrator group can launch this application"

Please help us.

Regards
Vamsi

Hi, Thanks for the

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

Now, I have logged into the system with Local Administrator account, Database Back Up and Restore console is opening.

But previously, I have logged into the system with Domain Admininstrator account, Database Back Up and Restore console is not opening.

I have opened the properties of the "Database Backup and Restore", it is pointing to dbtools.bat file.
May be our domain admin account does not have previleges to execute bat files.

Thanks & Regards
Vamsi

hi

It's permisson issue only.

Ideally Domain Admin will have full access to network. Check credentials for Domain admin.

Also check Symantec folder permissions. Add authenticated users if it's not listed.

Thanks and Regards,
