Unable to open PGPDisk using Win XP under virtual PC

I have PGP Desktop Home version 8.1 on Windows XP which had been operating without problem. Now I cannot access an encrypted PGP disk. I am getting the following error message. "The passphrase you entered is not a valid passphrase for the PGP disk. (Note that there were one or more users with public keys that could not be checked, possibly because these private keys are not on the default keyring or the token has not been inserted.)"

My public and private keyrings are the same as they were in 2003, so they haven't changed.  I also tried using version 9.01 with the same result.

Anyone got a solution or reasonable suggestion?

I'm hoping that it might be as simple as your key having somehow lost its Trust setting of Implicit - I'd suggest checking the Key Properties, which should be an option when right clicking on the key.
