  • 1.  Unable to register the serial No. Symantec Protection suit Small Business Edition

    I purchased and installed Symantec Protection suit Small Business Edition.

    After instalation it shows register serial no. when i click that link, it shows licensing portalpage.

    I was unable to register my license key. Please help.

    Error Showing "Our database does not recognize the serial number you entered 05-4247 xxxx xxxxxx. Please re-enter your serial number"

    How to register the License Key?

    Hi,

    Serial number usually starts with letter "M".

    If you are sure you tried the correct serial number then you can try to use the ".slf" file which would be in the email you received from Symantec at the point of purchase.

    If still the serial key does not work I would recommend you to call Symantec support and ask them to transfer the call to Licensing team how would give you another serial number or will resolve your queries.

    Note: You would need internet connectivity when you try applying a serial number.
