Unable to remove expired maintenance license

Hi there,

 

just faceing a problem with my BE2012 installation. I bought the maintenance renewal and added the SLF file to my installation.

When I try to remove the old maintenance contract I receive the error on the screenshot which says "Unable to remove product license".

Can somebody help me with this issue? Thanks in advance.

I would suggest to remove all your licenses:

restart services and add the current licenses again.

·         Stop Backup Exec services

·         Navigate to folder C:\ Program Data\Symantec Shared\Licenses and C:\Users\All Users\Symantec Shared\Licenses.

·         Copy all files under this location to somewhere else.

·         Start the services again.

·         Re-enter all licenses one by one.

Please note: It would be a good idea to insert the core product license first followed by agents and maintenance licenses while re-entering the licenses.
