Unable to retrieve license information error message
My A-Log is filled with the following error message which i do not truly understand because we do not have the 'helpdesk solution' installed. Does anybody have any ideas about how to get rid of the following error message?

If you never had it installed, even as a trial
(or by accident), that is indeed strange. Everyone has Alert Manager, which is "helpdesk lite", so you could try and find that in add\remove programs and run a repair.

We did have it installed as a trial so that may be what is causing the issue, but it has been completely uninstalled now. i will try running the repair on Alert Manager.

I spoke with Tech Support on this issue today. i ran the repair on Alert Manager which did not fix the issue. Tech Support had me install the helpdesk solution again which did fix the problem. this seems like a convoluted way of fixing the problem as we don't need to use the helpdesk solution, but my error log seems to be reporting healthy again so i am happy for now. Will see if the error comes back over the next few days.
That is definitely what is causing your error
The .net assembly for Helpdesk wasn't unregistered properly, so even if you thought helpdesk was completely gone, it isn't.
There are a few .net tools out there, one from Microsoft - The Global Assembly Cache Utility and a freware app, GACView.
Both should allow you to copy\move\uninstall .net assemblies, but you may want to consult with support first.
