We have a brand new NS running 7.1 and a site server. The Windows 7 client is registered with the site server and obtains tasks correctly. When we created a simple test job to copy a file from a UNC path from a different server, supplied the appropriate credentials and try to run it on a client machine, it always fails. The logs display the following:
<event date='Mar 23 13:19:25' severity='4' hostName='THUNDERCLAP' source='Client Task Agent' module='client task agent.dll' process='AeXNSAgent.exe' pid='1308' thread='3600' tickCount='4977312' >

Anyone have any ideas? We tried creating a job to copy a file from the NS as well by uploading a file and that too failed with the same error however we can access the location via CIFS without an issue.
We have also tried a copy job as a script, basically copy a file (the same one as before) from a UNC path to the local machine using the credentials as before and it works fine. It would be nice to NOT have to script each file copy job but will do so for now.
