  • 1.  Unable to run manual updater

    I have a Client machine and two servers with the SEP client running on them. I have to manually update them as they are not on the same network as my SEPM and are locked down for security reasons. 

    When I try to manually update these clients I get errors on the log.intelligentupdater.txt log file. I have tried a full reinstall of the SEP client. I have tried two seperate update files in case one was corrupt.     What's the SEP version? Can you try after running Cleanwipe tool?

    Thanks for your responses. I am running version 12.1.5. I have not tried Clean wipe yet. How do I do that?

    Do you have Cleanwipe tool? If not can download it from here.

    It's available under part2 download/tools folder.

    I just tried the clean wipe and reinstalled SEP 12.1.5 but the same thing happened. I also tried the reg fix again but the same issue is there. The SAVIUDeploy reg key always defaults to LueEim.dll instead of DuLuCbk.dll when I install SEP. All the machines that are working correctly have the reg key LueEim.dll and they are working fine. I have tried pointing the reg key to both .dll files in turn for the affected laptop but the same thing happens. Any more ideas?

    Hi,

    I solved my own problem. I had used the wrong install package. I used the one we used for the SEPM managed clients but this is a standalone machine seperate from the network. I reinstalled the standalone client and now I can manually update the definitions.
