Unable to see client on server
Updated: 22 May 2010 | 6 comments
I'm not sure if im posting this in the right area so forgive me if it is incorrect. I have installed endpoint protection on our network and for some reason one client can have endpoint loaded to it remotely but it does not show up on the server console for endpoint protection manager. Can anyone tell me why this might be happening. Thanks in advance

Hi,
having similar issue with another user
on the client try this command
open a browser and type
http://ipaddressoftheserver:port/secars/secars?hello,secars
example:
http://10.0.0.1:8014/secars/secars?hello,secars
if it return OK that means your browser is able to communicate with IIS
if page cannot be displayed or forbidden comes up u need to check your firewall
and ip address restriction on your IIS
hope this helps
