This issue has been solved. See solution.

Hi..
I have Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange 6.0.9.286 installed on a virtual server running Windows Server 2003 SP2.
On the server status I can see that there are 7 items in the quarantine but when I actually click on the quarantine tab there is nothing.
Is there another way to find the items ? It's quite frustrating since I am looking for an outgoing important email that was stopped due to violation.

Regards,
Dan

I just checked according to the article.
Everything seems ok. I tried to remove some of the files in quarantine and put one back into the folder, still unable to see them in the console.
Can I manually take a file out of quarantine and put it somewhere and turn it into the original file again ?

Quick Suggestion

I've seen that before when one quarantined message part was corrupt.  The code improvements introduced in 6.0.7 have eliminated most instances of the blank quarantine, though.

Do you have any other SMSMSE implementations?  One quick workaround that I used in the past was to copy the the .Q files, one by one, to the SMSMSE quarantine directory on another server.  They will display there, all except for the corrupted one.  (it's alsoa handy method to determine which message is in fact the corrupted one).  That's a quick way to be able to release quarantined message parts from a SMSMSE GUI.

Thanks again,

Mick

Mick

Hi. I just tested the

Hi.
I just tested the suggested workaround Mick and it works fine.
I am able to see all the attachments from one of the other servers.
That saved my day and :)
In the meantime I will try to figure out why I experience these problems on one of the servers (I might need to reinstall it).
Thanx for all your help.
