Running Android 4.4.4 on Samsung S5.

It worked yesterday, but today I'm unable to see my emails on the "Today" homescreen.

I get a notification of new email, I see unread email in "Today" email home screen. As soon as I read it and go back

to the Today homescreen, its empty. I can search emailsa and bring them up but don't see anything for today.

Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing or accidentally enabled?

The "Today list" shows up to 5 most recent unread messages from the current day. So if you read a message, it will disappear.

I think the problem is I can't see my folders. when I select Inbox or any of my other folders. I just get a blank screen but  if I search for any email, they are there

Intersting, I used to be able to see all my "read" emails too. Is there a way to see Read emails in my inbox?

This happens if you have a filter set in your email list view to anything other than "All".

Another way to customize that start screen is to swipe all the way to the end, then click the Configure Home Screens Button, then Add a new screen with a new filter specification to show all emails.
