    Posted Jul 28, 2010 09:08 AM
I installed SEP Managened Client on one system(windows XP SP3) and after installation the SEP Management Client is unable to start and giving an error:1068 saying the dependancy sservice failed to start.

What exactly this error refer to?
Is there any problem in the installation?
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the SEP Client and its version 11.0.5.

    Thanks in Advance....

start the symantec event notification service if its stopped.
if its on only one machine
uninstall the client and reinstall it.

    Thanks for ur Quick response...

I started the service and it SEP Management client service is started. As this is the managed client, I have put this one to update from the SEP Manager.

This problem is under only one client and further progress will be updated after the update..
