Hi,

I have installed netbackup server on a solaris server.
I have created a nfs share on my san and mounted it /backup on my netbackup server solaris machine.

Now i have created a storage unit in which i have specified the mounted point /backup as the point where the backup is to be stored.

I am taking the manual backup of an another nfs share and it returns me the following error.

Error :  bpbrm (pid = 15088)  BMRERR: failed to connect via vnetd to bmr master deamon: cannot connect on socket  (25)

Thanx in advance

Hamza

Turn off BMR form the policy

Turn off BMR form the policy if you dont need BMR.
If you do need BMR, then configure the BMR master server by doing bmrsetupmaster and also keep the bmrd daemon running on your NBU master server.

I have created a nfs share on

I have created a nfs share on my san
I think you should to tell us how you have done this :)
After you fix your BMR problem try not to use NFS-share as a DSU cause it slow and may be a root cause of some other problems.
