Unable to take remote using DS remote control

Hi All,
We are using altiris deployment console v6.9. we are trying to take the client using DS remote control, It shows "Waiting for client to accept the connection" in long time. Any solution is available for this one...

I may have missed this, but much relevant what OS you try to remote control. Windows 7 will fail and never render an image of the client and XP may require some settings for the client configuration:
- Allow remote control
- How to act if no response comes back from the client (continue/abort)
- Encrypt session with the server, but not required
- Use RC Drivers NO !!!
The last one is set in the INP file, so you want to check the file for the setting there. Shoudl look like this:
UseRCDrivers=No

we are using Windows XP embedded...
It's probably your network firewall in some of these cases. Most have an idle timeout feature to clean up what it believes to be "stale" connections. This can make aclients look inactive or make them stop working. You can increase this timeout on the firewall or look into using keep alive packets.

Hi,
Finally i restart the server and check the services, some of the services not running. It's give logon error and timely fashion errors. So i will change the logon password. Then eXpress services is not started after that i will end the process from task and finally all the services are running.
able to take the clients using DS Remote control.
