    Hi
    I've installed an agent on a w2k8 R2 server.and the CSP server is the same one;
    and,I applied  one uncorrect IPS policy to this agent,then ,the server cannot login\ the agent override tool cannot open
    and Now I can't uninstall the agent (it doesn't appear in the add/remove programs)
    I can't uninstall it through command line, I can't change settings with the sisipsconfig.exe command (can't reset to null policy or re register the agent) I get the

    "Could not access agent.ini file."
    "No changes were written to the agent.ini file."

    Tried everything both in safe mode and normal mode.

    Appreciate any kind of help in uninstalling the agent because it's a critical server.

    THX.

    Boot into safe mode.  Run "sisipscoinfig -i" from the command line.   Reboot into regular mode and then you can uninstall the product.

    The command sisipsconfig -i will disabled IPS. If you only wish to reset the IPS policy to Null, run sisipsconfig -r instead.
