  • 1.  Unable to Uninstall SEP SBE 12.1 from a client server

It seems that the installation one one Win2008 R2 server is corrupt. Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition client 12.1 was installed by pushing it from the management server. When I go to Control Panel on the client server to uninstall, the process rolls back after a few second and the product does not uninstall. Is it possible to get a tool to thoroughly uninstall the product? I looked up the instructions for "How to manually uninstall the Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 12 client" but would prefer to not proceed through the lengthy process.

Thank you for any suggestions you can provide!

Did you call support and request the Cleanwipe tool?

I work for a small nonprofit and purchased this program through TechSoup. It does not come with a service contract and I read in another forum that tech support won't even talk to me without a service contract. Suggestions?
