  • 1.  Unable to update console client

    I installed GSS 11 console + tools onto a machine.  I remote installed the client onto one machine.  Then I had trouble getting a pull.  I tried updating GSS but encountered problems.  Eventually, I uninstalled/reinstalled GSS+LiveUpdate and was able to sucessfully pull.  I'm now running Ghost 11.0.2.1573.

    Problem is, the machine I installed the client to earlier still reports the older version (1502) and the console displays it's icon with an exclamation point.  As I said, I was able to pull successfully, but I'm about to push this image out to other machines and I'd like to clear this issue up first.  I tried doing another remote install--it reports success but problem is not resolved.  I manually uninstalled client from the machine, rebooted, and reinstalled--still no luck.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I would uninstall the client through Add/Remove Programs, then install and run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility to remove leftover install info. Here is a linmk to download that utility:

    Install it from the msicuu2.exe, then run it from Start > All Programs.
