have you installed certificate? I see certificate error from IE,How to install the certificate for Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager or Protection Center for web console access
    https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH123686.html

Once you download just double click it

    Than click Install Certificate

The import wizard comes up, click Next

Tick the radio button for "Place all certificates in the following store" and click Browse

Highlight the Trusted Root Certification Authority

    Click Next than Finish

Should Prompt you that you're about to install and hit OK

    That should be it.

    Try this

    Problem

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager displays an error message on the Home and Reports pages: "This program cannot display the webpage."

    Cause

Localhost is not in Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer.

    Solution

Add localhost to Trusted Sites in Internet Explorer.

    1. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options.

    2. On the Security Tab, click Trusted Sites > Sites.

    3. Under Add this website to the zone, type "localhost".

    4. Uncheck Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.

    5. Click Add.

    6. Click Close, and then click OK.

    7. Close Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, and open it again.

    Hi Rafeeq & James007,

I have tried both and also opened a case with symantec regarding this, but issue is same.

Moreover I would like to tell you that I am trying to take web access through my local machine. If openening web console from the SEPM server then its working fine and all tabs are accessable.

    Port 9090, 8443, 8445 is already opened.

If anybody could help with any other port should be opened for web cosole.

    Thanks in advance.

What about using the remote java console? Have you tried this option and if so is the error present?

I have tried that also but it didn't work. I have also submitted logs of my SEPM server & workstation to symantec support and waiting for any positive response from their side. Will update you all if they give any solution.

    Hi Shashikant,

    Have you allowed port 8445?

    on the browser its https://SEPM:8443

but the page cannot be displayed shows 8445.

Make sure you add this port to your server's incoming firewall (Windows or network based firewall).  Both TCP 8443 and 8445 are needed for remote console access (unless you changed the ports from default).  (For the logon piece, I believe it uses 8443 and then once you are in the console, 8445 is used for some of the tabs)

8445 TCP Reporting Console httpd.exe (Apache) Added in SEP 12.1.x. HTTPS reporting console.

    Hi Rafeeq,

both 8443 and 8445 are enabled. I have read somewhere in KB that for login it uses 8443 but after we are logged in it redirects to 8445 in 12.1 or higher. So all these ports are enabled and able to telnet also. Plz elaborate if we have other options to check port are enable/disable. Snap shot attached for your reference.

Yes, In my machine I am having IE 11 & I have tried in system having IE ver. 10. The error was same but in suggestions it was not showing my sepm IP with port. It was only showing:- Make sure the web address is correct.

Brian from Symantec support had suggested me to upgrade the SEPM ver. from RU5 to latest RU6, but it not possible for me right now. Shared him symhelp logs of SEPM and my local machine, while trying to get access on SEPM web console but still waiting for any response from Symantec support.

    Thanks....

I have installed the java base console before also.It adds a file to system default folder which is not allowed in my current organization. I don't have permission to add that java file to default system folder.

I will share you the screen shot of that in my next working day.
