    Hi,

I want to know if there are any options for unattended installation of the SEPM Management server. Is there any documentation available for this ?

    Thanks,
    Ravi

There are attended, unattended, and silent options for installting.  The later, being the preferred method IMO.

All are available within the console via ADMIN >> Install Packages >> Install Settings.

Create a new policy for a silent install, with NO reboot.  Export a new package, or use that when pushing out packages, Done.

    Hi,

I am talking about the Server install itself and not the client package install. Are there any unattended parameters available for server install itself ?

    Thanks,
    Ravi

So you are talking about Installing SEPM with a Answer file I guess....Till date I haven't come across somebody who has done that...
But I guess it would be possible but don't know how..

    Hi,

I have close to 14 sites and the installation job will be done by operations team. I wanted to have an unattended method so that only running a batch file with all parameters pre feeded will do the job.

Is there a way to specify an unattended file, where we specify all parameters required for installation ?

    Thanks,

    Ravi

    Hi,

I have created an Idea for the same.

    https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/idea/create-sepm-installation-package-multiple-sites

The point for creating this would be to automate the installation of SEPM on multiple sites. It would definitely increase the speed of deployment.

    Cheers,
