  • 1.  Understanding the architecture of Gateway and Web Messenger

We have 6 servers, 3 each in different data centres and initially we thought of enabling gateway functionality in 2 servers in each dc and enabling the web messenger in remaining 1 server in each location and then cluster all the servers together.

But the clustring didnt work and we had to enable the web messenger in remaining 4 gateway servers as well for replicating the messages. with this now, we are running in to space issue, as the message is getting stored in all 4 gateway servers even though it is not supposed to be. so pl let me know for any workaorund for this

That doesn't sound right.  You can enable and disable services on any clusters - what is happening when you try and disable a service on one of the cluster members?
