    Hi,

    I have plenty of jobs which were once replicated to a child server which I would need to be able to edit again from the child ns. I have found a link to the following howto HOWTO61135 "Breaking Hierarchy" . But unfortunately it is not available anymore. I was hoping to find some information in there how I could "undo" all replicated items.

    I know on policies I can "edit" it on the parent server that some options can be changed on child ns. But this is not available on jobs. Also this has to be set for every item. I would like to undo this on a folder base.

    Any suggestions? For example import / export and chaning the itemattribute?

    Hi Stefan,

    1. After hierarchy breaking, you will be able to modify this Job, but once hierarchy will be created back, then this Job be managed by Parent again.

    2. Hierarchy Editable Properties (HEP) are available for policies but aren't applied for Tasks/Jobs.

    3. You can clone existing replicated Job on Child NS (which is managed by Parent NS), then it will be possible to modify it.

    Note: If you will clone a job with tasks, then it will clone existing Job as well as all included there tasks!
