encounter erro during login to SEPM

SEPM is windows 2012 with separate box MSSQL.

From your scm-server-0.log

(Unknown server host name 'server1sql'.)

And from your db-validator.log

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: Unknown server host name 'server1'.

Can you confirm the name are correct for your SEPM server itself and your dedicated SQL server ?

In the meantime what you can also do is to run the SEPM Wizard to re-configure your SEPM settings and correct the information if anything is incorrect or missing and try to connect back to your SEPM console.

If it's still do not work, I would advise to perform a disaster recovery procedure if you do have a backup of your SEPM before this issue occurs.

Try this. This has worked for me several times. Run the management server configuration wizard. In the page where the SEPM server details are filled, provide the IP address of the SEPM server instead of the server name and complete the rest of the wizard normally. Then try logging in. Hopefully that should work.
