Since this morning, I am getting the subject error with no error code.

SEPM 12.1.5 running on Windows 7 Machine.

I'm afraid if I repair(through add remove program) the SEPM, I may lose all the settings.

How can I get back the SEPM in a working condition?

    Thanks in advance.

The message often indicates minor or temporarily issues, e.g. problems with the mail server.

A good starting point to examine what happened is the file <SEPM installation folder>\tomcat\logs\scm-server-0.log.

Normally the repair function does not touch the settings. Additionally it offers a database backup.

Running a repair isn't going to lose all settings. And you should have a DB backup already.

    Thanks,

Made several excercise. Database service was not starting, that was the real issue.

Made a repair, and was perfect for few hours, late it got stuck.

Finally upgraded the same to the latest.

    It looks good now.
