I have a problem when trying to login to SEPM. I always get an error code when accessing the console and after logged in, the Home,Reports, and Monitors tabs are blank, what could be the cause of this issue? Thanks in advance for your kind help.

What version? Enable FINEST SEPM debugging, reproduce the error and check the scm-server-0.log

    Hello,

Try Logging into the SEPM using a user account that has full rights to access both the SEPM and the external SQL database.

    OR

Run the management server configauration wizard and in the SEPM configuration to SQL, change to SA authentification from Windows authentication.

    OR

Try giving the AD account that has rights to the SQL database Full rights to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\temp" folder and the error message would go away!

    Please check this Article -

    Unexpected server error 0x10010000 <site name> <server>

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH105218

You could also provide us the scm-server-0.log which would guide us for possible indications of the cause.

By default, this log is located in C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\tomcat\logs for both SEP 11 and SEP 12.1

    Hope that helps!!

    Hi,

Verify database connectivity using below Symantec article.

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH105218

    or

Need to check the permisions where we have installed Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager.

    - Domain account which has been used to access the SQL database should have "Local Administrator" rights on the Server where we have installed Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager console .

For the remote database connections that use the Windows Authentication mode, we must be aware of the following requirements:

    - For deployments in an Active Directory environment, the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and SQL Server must be located in the same Windows domain.

    - For deployments in a Workgroup environment, the Windows account credentials must be the same for the local computers and the remote computers.
