I have Norton 10.1.7.7000

 

Is there a clear step by step procedure to uninstall it?

You can use your product key and 

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall ... - Symantec

OK look...I am going to be very "precise" here, especially after being PM-spammed 4x inside of a minute with the same question.
