  • 1.  Uninstall symantec 12.1.2 unsuccessfully

    Hi Support,

     

    I have tried to run:

    1. CleanWipe 4.1/6 - Failed
    2. ActaRes.dll - error message pop out
    3. ProtectionUtilRes.dll - error message pop out

    I need some help how to resove it before I can have a fresh installation of symantec 12.1.5

    Have you try latest cleanwipe tool ?

    You can download for fileconnect in tool folder,

    SEPM 12.1 RU5 part 2 download and cleanwipe folder available ,If you don't have license key you need to contact symantec support.

    You can download the tool part from fileconnect where the cleanwipe tool is located. Try it. If failed then let us know

    Cleanwipe might cause unwanted issues, ( its rare though) this might take 20 mins extra, but will do the job, follow this document

    Manually uninstall Endpoint Protection 12.1 clients - Windows Vista, 7 or Windows Server 2008 (32 and 64-bit)

    for Temp login you need to contact symantec support.

    To get that Cleanwipe Utility, you will have to call symantec or log a web case.
