Uninstall Symantec ver 11x
Created: 13 Sep 2012 | Updated: 13 Sep 2012 | 5 comments
My Symantec 11x server was hosed so I set up a new server and decided to upgrade to ver 12x. I now need to uninstall 11x from 500 domain computers. Is there a way to do this via a script through GPO on startup? I can push 12x through SCCM.
Any help would be appreciated.

Why don't you just create a 12.1 package and push via SCCM? It will upgrade over the 11.x boxes.

hi,
Why you are uninstall SEP 11 ?
Why you are not using Push Deployment or Auto Upgrade Feature ?

Hi,
If communication is lost, you can restore client communication with the help of Sylink.xml

Also if would have backup of server private key folder then you can try to restore that as well.
