Uninstaller for Symantec Endpoint Protection

Created: 19 Oct 2010 • Updated: 30 Oct 2010 | 6 comments
This issue has been solved. See solution.

Wanted to do a clean removal of SEP and need the uninstaller. Now, before you Symantec guys panic, we're keeping SEP. We just want to start from scratch.

Could someone send that my way?

Thanks

Put in a support request to get it...

Here is a link to a site that describes how to use CleanWipe...looks to be an older version of CleanWipe.

Best way to do this is Add/Remove Programs..

However if any issues with that then you can use Cleanwipe Utility that you can only get from Symantec Technical Support

The most helpful part of entire Symantec connect is the Search button..do use it.

Do you mean for the client or the SEPM? There is a utility called CleanWipe that can be obtained by calling Symantec tech support.

If you are not using the MSIEXEC command or the uninstall from ADD/REMOVE programs, you will need to open a Support case with Symantec in order to get the latest version of CLEANWIPE.

Alternatively, you can do it by hand:
