Uninstalling Many Prior Version

Created: 27 Feb 2009 • Updated: 21 May 2010 | 1 comment

I am currently working on a way to uninstall prior versions of my program.

The current version is version 6.

my customers have any one of the prior 5 versions or the current version 6.

I have a list of GUID numbers and discovered a shell command like:

msiexec.exe /X{ MyGUID1} /QN

msiexec.exe /X{ MyGUID2} /QN . . . .

will uninstall a single older version.

What is the safest, most elegant way to handle a forced uninstall of 5 GUID numbers when my customer gets my latest myProgram6.msi file?
