I was given a computer that was used in an office. system restore did not work so I did a manual removal of 90% of the installed programs until I hit a road block. I prefer to use another anti virus product. Bedore I download it I need to uninstall Norton. The issue is that it will NOT remove. Error message in system tray. "GATHERING ERROR INFO" in dialog box/ Progress bar stops halfway across the box. Does NOT uninstall. NO disable choice, NO shut down choice, NO help in the help pages. I NEED to get rid of this . There will be a conflict with my preferred product. Please email me an alternitive way to get rid of this program. There are 266 days left from the previous owners purchase. I DO NOT UDE PAID PRODUCTS, EVER! There must be a way to uninstall this. Please help me!   reeltoreelguy@gmail.com
