Hi,
This article is talking about Patch Management Solution Best Practices. But my requirement is, I want to install Hotfix (KB45825 & KB45826) for Altiris console itself. KB45825 in Altiris CMS server and KB45826 in Recovery Solution servers. Please help, thanks !
Before doing any update you should back up the Notification ("CMS") server and all databases.
KB45825 (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH41534) can be uninstalled from Windows Swerver 2003 Add/Remove programs provided the Recovery Solution AUP is current - it can't be uninstalled from Windows Server 2000.
KB45826 (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH41535) can be uninstalled by browsing to the msi, right-clciking and selecting uninstall: C:\Program Files\Altiris\Altiris\Notification Server\NSCap\Bin\Win32\X86\Recovery Server Package\AeXRSServer.msi
Back up GetDelBlobRecs.sql, Reports_ServerJobHistory.sql and Reports_GetMetaJobInfo.sql also as the original versions aren't uninstalled when the msi is uninstalled.

Thank you !
In line with stored procedures, in my server 'Reports_ServerJobHistory.sql' is not available, instead I can see 'Reports_JobHistory', is both are same ?? Other 2 are available. Thanks !
I'm sorry, I don't have a server available - I just copied those instructions from the Symantec TECH article. You could try an administrative install of the hotfix msi to see what stored procedures it changes:

Thank you.. But, it's an exe file, when I try '.exe -a' option, it starts executing, hence i've cancelled the setup process. Let me find out a way to see the files inside it, thanks for your great help !
7-zip might be able to extract an msi or check in the setup files directory in program files\altiris or your temp files folder (docs & settings\username\local settings\temp) before you cancel the exe install.

I found them here, C:\Documents and Settings\ramalbb\Local Settings\Temp\1\{113441E1-670C-4782-AC93-5D76C804A85A}, its 'Reports_ServerJobHistory.sql' only.
So that's probably a new stored procedure, if you haven't got it now you could probably just delete it if you needed to roll back.
