I am wondering when download SEP MR6 MP1. After download setup is copy to my 8GB pen drive and tries to install my test lab. I was just checked size of setup I am surprise when it’s showing 75.4 GB. When I manually check one by one folder I got many folders In (SylinkDrop) it’s showing 75.4GB in that lots of folder with symbolic name. I think is malicious virus. I not able to unload this sample Symantec security response becoz of size matter. Find attach for same.

Please try to download the latest version again on a different machine and then cross check for the folder size. May be you can download it on a machine which already has SEP installed with the latest definitions.

Next time you connect your pen drive be sure to scan it first with the latest virus definitions. Keep the Auto play feature of the OS to OFF. Once you download th SEP latest version check for the properties of the folder, in case you have an option to Unblock..Unblock it and then use it. One more information SEP detects the virus as per their Hash value and not as per their file name. Its possible that there may be a different variant.
