hi, could anyone tell me what this icon means in the manager?
thanks a lot
It indicate you that your sep client version is old.
but i have a lot of "old clients", only this one is marked with this icon.
My suggestion is you to run the symhelp to better know about it. This icon is first time come with client version as i have seen
i know that i can upgrade my client, but i want to know what this icon means.
i have hundreds of old clients, but only this one shows that special appearance in the manager.
This indicated ison is first time i have seen. So that i have suggested you to run the symhelp tool on that client to better know.
Also you can delete that client entry from sepm and run the update policy from client. Check the same icon is visible or not.
I deleted the workstation, and it reappeared, again with that "special icon" ;-)
that icon means " client has rejected the upgrade package" right click on the client you will find the reason under the properties tab.
no , i checked that before. no entry on these fields
It means this workstation will NOT run SEP 12.1 as it is not supported. So you either need to leave at 11.x or upgrade the OS. 11.x is end of life so you need to come to a decision soon.
ok thank you brian.
thats right, this workstation is the only one with xp sp1 installed ;-)
Correct. That's why you would see that icon as it's not supported for 12.1
:)
