Just installed PGP Desktop 10.2 on a new server running windows server 2008. Currently, my company has a few older servers running 2003 with PGP 6.5.3. In PGP Desktop, I have imported the public ring and secure ring from one of our production servers. I have checked to make sure that the key ID's are the same and that the secure rings are set to trust-implicit and the public keys are set to trust. To test the keys I have copied over a pgp armored file from our production server. When I try to decrypt it, it gives me the following,

This object was encypted to the following public key(s):

    1 unknown key(s)

It is not possible to decrypt this message because your keyring does not contain usable private key(s) corresponding to any of the above public key(s)

When clicking on the unknown key, it does nothing. Is there something I forgot to do after importing? Please help.

    Thanks,

    Dustin

The message means that the key the file was encrypted to is not on your keyring.  Please right click on All Keys in PGP Desktop and select Properties, to make sure PGP is set to use the correct keyrings.  I believe you are saying that you have checked My Private Keys in PGP Desktop to make sure you have all the prior private keys, and that each of these are set to having Implicit Trust?  Please confirm this, and also that they are set as Enabled.  If this is all correct, is there a chance that you have not copied the current private keyring?  You may also want to try that copied file on the older server to make sure it can still be decrypted there.

It turns out that I did not have our most up to date keyrings from our production server. Thanks for the help!
