Unmanaged Detectors finding SEP clients

I enabled multiple unmanaged detectors across our WAN and they are detecting valid SEP clients. I saw this posting but it does not apply because most of the detectors (if not all) are physical machines.

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/find-unmanaged-computer-unmanaged-detector-problem

All of the clients that are being detected are properly communicating with the SEP server.

Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be? I'm running MR4 MP2.
Thanks in advance.

Are they communicating with same sepm server

Are these clients reporting to the same SEPM Server to which Unmanaged detector are reporting?

Detector and Clients report to same SEPM

In most cases yes, they are reporting to the same SEPM server.  I may have 1 or 2 detectors that are reporting to different SEP servers from the 'unmanaged" clients but in most cases they are the same.
