Endpoint Protection

I need to create an unmanaged install package for a server outside of the dmz. Is there a link I could reference to? Also Is it possible to set this unmanaged install to be configured for automatic updates? Or will it have to be manually updated?

There is no concept of unmanaged/managed packages in LUA. Guess you are refering to the Symantec Endpoint Portection Manager product. Here, you can create an unmanaged package from the console itself. Its under Admin tab->Install Packages->Export client packages

 

Even unmanaged client can be configured for automatic liveupdate. Use the windows control panel to go that configuration
