Hi Idan,
'Unnamed MFT entry' is not an error at all, it is only a status message.
We haven't seen any specific imaging issues for 2K servers, so it is probably not because of the OS. Is there anything specific about the data you have in the machine (i.e. compressed data, very large number of very small files). Image creation time could be affected with the nature of the files you have in the partition, but I do not expect to see this big difference.
One other possibility is the version of USB port. If it is not 2.0, 25GB image could take a long time. I think it comes to about 60 MB/min (hope my math is OK:smileyindifferent: ). This is not unusual with old USB 1.1 ports. Could you check if your USB ports are 2.0? You can copy a large file while in Windows and see how long it takes to copy to USB device (about a 1 GB file).
You had created an image in the same USB device at a much higher speed - was it with this machine or with a one newer than this?
Regarding the performance of network, could it be due to a older DOS network driverr?
One other option you can consider is using WinPE and Ghost32. This will not help much with USB if it is a slower port, could improve the performance when saving in a network share since WinPE probably get newer dirvers.
