I am looking for a way to determine clients on our network that do not have SEP loaded. Can someone tell me if there is a process inside SEPM that can be configured or run to show these clients?

Doesnt Unmanaged mean just the clients that are not being managed by your SEPM? If so this is not what I'm looking for. We do have specific cases where clients are not managed in our environment. I was looking for something that would provide details on clients that do not have the SEP loaded on them at all. I may be misunderstanding this though?

By running the unmanaged clients, it will bring up a grid, once the scan has been completed.  You can choose how to scan, by IP address range for example.

In the rid, it will give you the name of the machine, the IP address, and it will indicate with a Red Dot -> No client installed or a Green Dot -> Client installed.

So, essentially, it will give you the information you are looking for.

    Open SEPM console
    Navigate to "Clients"
    - (left pane) Tasks -> Find unmanaged computers
    - Select IP range of machines you want to scan
    - Enter Credentials required for scanning

In the example included, these are linux and/or MAC machines, so no client installed...
