    Hi.

Can someone please tell me how is the update from SCSP 5.1.2 to 5.2?

    Simple? Requires reboot?

    Thanks!

For upgrades from SCSP 5.1.x, please see the SCSP Install Guide, Chapter 5.  It discusses what you need to do to prepare and the actual steps involved.  This can be done as an "over-install" so there is no need to uninstall the SCSP Manager software first.  I have done this a number of time for customers.  The basics:

    - Backup the agent-cert.ssl and server.xml files.
    - Ensure you have the scspdba or sa password.
    - Begin the SCSP Manager upgrade and follow the prompts.  The current install will be detected automatically.
    - Once complete, upgrade the SCSP Console and then login.
    - Agents can be upgraded at your leisure of left running 5.1.x.

At the time of this post, SCSP 5.2.3 is the latest release.  It can be obtained from the Platinum Support site or FileConnect.

    Thanks.
