    haii,

    m using symentac endpoint protection managerversion 11.0 antiviros is fully update on server2003 but client update is not there so please give the reason of unable to update in client pc.

    Hello,

     

    Could you please be more specific about the issue, Like what version of SEP you are using and also how and when did you realize this problem. Also how many clients have the same problem?

    Title
    SECLU component blocked by Tamper Protection (Symantec.SyKnAppS.SingleAccess)

    Problem

     

    SEP is blocking SESLU.EXE and throws Tamper Protection Alert for Symantec.SyKnAppS.SingleAccess

    Error

    Symantec.SyKnAppS.SingleAccess

    <spacer type="block" width="5"></spacer>
     
    <spacer type="block" width="5"></spacer>
    Cause

    Possibility are PTP  definition's are corrupted.

    Solution

    Solution 1:

    a.) Delete the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\AV\Storages\SymHeurProcessProtection

    b.) Delete all files under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\SyKnAppS folder with extension GRD, SIG, WLT, SPM.

    c.) Restart the all Symantec Endpoint Protection Services.

    Solution 2:

    a.) Follow above A and B Steps.

    b.) Delete all folders under C:\Program Files\Symantec Client Security\Symantec AntiVirus\ContentCache.

    c.) Run Liveupdate from SEP GUI Interface. (Incase button is Grayedout, enable from SEPM  Console).

    Solution 3:

    a.) Try creating exclusion of

     

     

    C:/Program Files/Symantec/Symantec Endpoint Protection/SescLU.exe

    Check whether SEP client is able to communicate to server.In the client Go to help and support-->troubleshooting and check wheter you are able to see the server name /IP...
