Is the old SEPM still avaiable and is the clients still communicating to old SEPM ?

If Yes - Just login to the SEPM and Change/Remove the client password and the deploy the communication update package

If no - You will have to reinstall the SEP client by performing a Cleanwipe and the a fresh isntallation of SEP client from the new SEPM

Does Old SEPM manager are available or not ?

How many sep client are available ?

If old sepm server not available with out password you can not communicate sep client.

If less sep client available you can solution available replace sylink.xml in safe mode .

Are you talking about apassword applied to stop SMC? If not, you don't need a password to replace the comms file.

Have you tried exporting the sylink file and manually importing?

Was the password set only to stop the client service or even to import a new policy file?

If you are not sure. try the following:

    1) Open SEP client console on an affected PC

    2) Go to Help -> Troubleshooting.

    3) Click on "Import" under "Policy Profile". If it doesn't asks for a password that means you are good to import a policy that will disable the password on the SEP client, after which you can deploy the communication package without a password.

Please check the article at the below link to know how to export /import policies on SEP clients.
