I'm having difficulties to update the Deployment Solution tab/connector in the Notification Server from version 6.1.350 to 6.9.355 and hoping that someone here can give a hand.
The Deployment Server is 6.9 and the Notification Server is 6.0 SP3 R9. When I tried to update the Deployment Solution in the Notification Server, the install would finish without error, but the update would not work. I checked the Windows Application Log and found the following 2 MSInstaller errors:
The installation of C:\WINDOWS\Installer\38fbd28b.msi is not permitted due to an error in software restriction policy processing. The object cannot be trusted.
Product: Altiris Deployment Solution -- Error 1718.File C:\WINDOWS\Installer\38fbd28b.msi was rejected by digital signature policy.
I've also tried reinstalling the Deployment Web Console by using the Webcons.exe, but that didn't help.
