Today, I upgraded a client from SEP 11.0.7101.1056 to 11.0.7200.1147 and with this update a nagging question has crept back into my mind:  Is there an update to LiveUpdate 3.3.0.96 for this client?  The release notes for this update lists several updated components, including the following:

LiveUpdate:  3.3.0.115

So, while the LiveUpdate download page shows only LiveUpdate version 3.3.0.96, as the latest version, is version 3.3.0.115 available and, if so, where is it and can I safely update this client with this newer version of LiveUpdate?  I am seeing some hints of a LiveUpdate within the 1147 patch, but, I want to be certain this is the proper update for this client, before I attempt to install it.  And, I was curious as to why, if this is an update to LiveUpdate, the update wasn't, automatically, applied to my installed version of LiveUpdate, when I applied the 1147 patch to this SEP client.

the liveupdate should be available in  the CD/install media.

Can you add details on the procedure you used to update your SEP clients?

And, I was curious as to why, if this is an update to LiveUpdate, the update wasn't, automatically, applied to my installed version of LiveUpdate, when I applied the 1147 patch to this SEP client.

Performing auto-upgrades from the SEPM to the SEP clients should also automatically upgrade the LU client on those computers to the latest available version.

Thank you for your responses.  These particular clients are, actually, unmanaged clients.  I updated them by downloading and installing the latest patch for SEP 11.x, updating from 11.0.7101.1056 to 11.0.7200.1147.  I grabbed the patch from this URL:

I have extracted the downloaded patch and can see a file labeled as MsiLu.exe (LiveUpdate Patch Launcher); it is only 21 KB in size.  Should I execute or "run" this file, by itself?  The other two files that get extracted are Patch.msp (Windows Installer Patch), at 16,671 KB, which I assume is the actual SEP patch, and a file, SMCInst.exe (Symantec Client Management Component), which is 654 KB in size.
