Update Notifications

One issue I've seen in several SSIM environments is that customers do not like the update notifications.  They want to be able to get notification when an incident is created but do not want to receive notification every time that the SSIM updates an incident (severity, priority, etc).  There doesn't appear to be a workaround unless I am missing something?

Sorry, at the moment ther is no solution to the problem.
I know that there is an Enhancement request pending to make the notifications more configurable.
But I don't have any information if and when this is going to be implemented.

 For the confirmation on this.  One suggestion from a backline Support team member was to create a User Group on the SSIM, add the users to that group and then on the notification add the User Group instead of the user directly.  We've tested that and have been unable to make that work.

I am aware of the pending enhancement request.  I'm hopeful it makes it to the product soon.

No go for me as well

Yes I had the same issue and logged a call with support a few months ago. I received the same response (that I'd have to wait for the enhancement request). It's anoying that various teams I've configured to receive "alerts" get spammed when I update/close these. The only other thought I I had was to use SNMP traps instead into a another applications which then manages the notification to users, like a well managed EMS.
