Hi,
Your Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition clients will upgrade automatically once the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager has been upgraded. No further action is required on your part to complete the upgrade process.
Have you disabled the auto-upgrade feature for clients? What's the SEPM version?
Check here:
- Login to the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager
- Select the Computers page.
- Under My Company select the group that includes the clients you would like to prevent from using the auto-upgrade feature.
- Under Tasks select Edit the group properties.
- Click the checkbox for Disable Automatic Client Package Updates.
- Click OK.
The Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 12.1.x product has reached End-of-life and is set to be replaced by the Hosted (or .Cloud) version of the product.
Note: This does NOT mean the customer needs to immediately upgrade their product. Customers will be able to renew their on-premises license and continue to use their SBE SEPM’s until 2018.
Please be aware of the official announcement in case you haven't received yet.
