  • 1.  Updating HP Rapid Deployment Pack

    hihi,

    We're running HP Rapid Deployment Pack Version 6.9 (Build 164) based on Altiris Deployment Server and need to update it to fix some problems.

    Will the SP4 update of Altiris work with HP RDP?

    The link below suggests there's a license problem.

    If it wont work, any ideas how to get it updated?

    I have been running RDP with SP4 (build 453) the last few weeks.

    This was a new RDP version downloaded from HP that I used to update from SP3.

    So it was more like a full download rather than an update?

    Have you got the link for the new version of RDP , I have searched the HP website and cant find nothing on this.

    Sorry to post here..   But since all of you use RDP.



    Is RDP really worth it, if you already have Altiris DS?

    Never Mind..

    According to HP's website they do not support:

    XP x64    which is all we use

    And they don't support the XW460c accordign to there requirements.



    Funny thing is HP was pushing RDP, during our 3 months of testing...

    Go figure
