  • 1.  Updating Symantec AV corporate 10.2 to server not connected to the internet

    Hey guys,

    We are currently updating our antivirus using the .xdb file downloads as was in place before I arrived, however, it is a bit hit and miss, sometimes the server picks it up, sometimes it doesnt. Im trying to find documentation on doing it with liveupdate set to a shared folder rather than the internet.  We have live update installed on our internet download workstation and would like to copy them onto a DFS share (we have 4 remote sites).  Is there a best practise for servers not connected to the internet?

    You can use the liveupdate Administrator on one of your site where you have the internet. & let all the four site take the updates from the LUA.
