First check if the communication is correct:

    1. is the windows firewall enabled on Vista clients?

    2. open SEP interface on the Vista client and go to help and support > troubleshooting. Under General Information in first line you should see the name or IP address of the Manager

    3. create the communication log and attach it to the thread:

How to enable Sylink Debugging for Symantec Endpoint Protection in the registry

    Hello,

What version of SEP 11 are you running??

When you say "Daily Patches", I believe you are talking about daily definitions, isn't it?

Here are few Documents, which you can work on:

Symantec Endpoint Protection: LiveUpdate Troubleshooting Flowchart

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH95790

Symantec Endpoint Protection: Troubleshooting Client/Server Connectivity

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH105894

    Hope that helps!!
