This issue has been solved. See solution.

I've been trying to upgrade my management servers to the latest version of SEPM

I've hit a little snag though . When running the setup.exe file everything seems to go through ok . However , I don't get the option to upgrade the database , instead it gives me the option to reconfigure the management server . If I enter all of the settings correctly and go through this wizard I cannot then log into the management server , it says I need to upgrade the SEPM as it's a different version ...

In add / remove programs the management server still says that it's MR4 MP2 ..... It should have upgraded ????

anyone know how to get the correct option to upgrade the database ?

I've performed this upgrade since MR1 & have never seen this happen .... anyone have any idea's as to the problem ??
